Yes! Here at Hung for the Holidays, we are an all-inclusive company. From design and installation to maintenance and removal after the season, when you go with the professionals at Hung for the holidays, you won’t need to lift a finger the whole season! Holiday light removal begins the first week in January (weather permitting).

All of our lights are water resistant, but it is always best to minimize the lights’ exposure to water as much as possible. Make sure your sprinklers are off and facing away from the lights at all times.

Most likely because you have what’s called a GFIC outlet which is designed for safety but doesn’t work very well with Christmas lights.  They are designed to be very sensitive and when the lights themselves get wet, not the cords or the connections, they will trip the GFI outlet.  Sprinklers are also a big problem.  I recommend that you don’t have your sprinklers come on when the lights are on (even if that’s in the very early morning hours) because that will shoot water right into the lights!

We will come out to your property within 48 hours of a problem and will help you troubleshoot in the meantime, odds are it is a quick, easy fix! 90% of problems with your lights are because the GFI pops. All you need to do is reset the GFI at your breaker box and you’ll be back up and running in no time! Something else to consider is if your sprinklers are running- while the lights are water resistant, direct contact with water should be avoided whenever possible.

LED lights are extremely energy efficient (use 80% less power than incandescent lights), very durable (less outages) and will trip the GFI outlets about 80% less than standard (incandescent) lights.
